Studies Show Male Circumcision Reduces HIV Risk in Half
Two long awaited studies from Africa show that a man's risk of getting the AIDS virus heterosexually is cut in half if he is circumcised. As we hear from VOA's David McAlary in Washington, public health experts say circumcision can be a new weapon in the anti-HIV arsenal.
The findings are so strong that the U.S. government agency sponsoring the trials, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, halted them several months early so the uncircumcised men in them could take advantage of the procedure.
At the World Health Organization, the head of its HIV/AIDS Department, Dr. Kevin DeCock, says male circumcision has the potential to prevent perhaps millions of infections in the coming years.
But he warns that the procedure is not completely protective.

Papa John's Sucks
My roommate tried to order Papa John's for the 2nd time in two weeks. It didnt work. Here is the e-mail he sent their corporate office:
For the time second in a month I have recieved coupons to your branch at 533 Washington St, Brigton, MA 02135. This branch sucks I have waited a total of half hour and they were never able to complete my order. It is a really simple order: Ready..... it is a large half pepperoni half cheese with 2 20 oz. cokes. First off I've waited 5 mins on a hold at 6 pm on a monday. Second they consistently have problems with coupons. If the coupon is for 11.99 the bill comes out to 16.99. This coupon is from their store, it has their address on it. I only order from you store for your garlic sauce, but because your branch sucks so much I will never order papa johns. Seriously I challenge you to place an order using a coupon to this branch on a Monday evening. Please let me know when you have fired everyone from that branch. Seriously it is worst customer service ever. Try ordering-really......it is impossible. I have wasted a half hour on 2 phone orders for nothing. I was very calm the entire time. These people just cant figure it out. It is so frustrating. I would ask for a coupon for a pizza but obviously its pointless at this branch.

SADNESS
Well, here it is, I think we finally have hit dead end in the progression of this blog. I think everyone has been losing interest, and we just don’t have the time to commit anymore. I try even 5 mins a day is sometime too much to hack. I think back on the blog and over one year ago, the retardation began and as new writers came and went, the best rose to the top as we wrote about shitting, laughs, boozing, embarassing moments, stupid videos and pictures, eating and once again shitting. We will keep the site up and I will take some time to redesign it a bit, but it will lots of links and useful stuff and maybe some RSS feeds and will hopefully be useful either way. I think im gonna write my food reviews for yelp now. Maybe still post my invesment ideas. I just want to thank all the writers we had cause without you guys, the world would be a better place. Plus our dedicated readers who came back even after all ups and downs. I feel like crying but instead I will dutch oven myself until I pass out (perhaps in the shower). This weekend im going to alumni weekend at umass, as I stick out like a sore thumb, I remember the good times we had on the beef.
So we will still be here but it will never been like it once was

Restaurant Review - Giacomo's
Not sure but if you watch the food network at all, there is a lady named rachel ray on the show, she is a super eater in my book and she went to boston on one of her shows; she went to the north end to a restaurant called Giacomos and it looked real good (plus several people have recommended the place to me). So we went there the first time but there was literally a line down the street for this smallish restaurant but everything on the menu looked awesome, I was starving and hot as balls outside and we didn’t end up going; take 2, last weekend, we tried again (located on hanover in north end boston) and long line once again but this time I was going to wait it out. We finally got in and noticed how small this place is, smells good, but kinda of cramped and the shitter is like a gym locker. They have a limited booze menu so I had some italian beer (miraz?). The waitress runs down how the menu is set up but you choose a sauce for the pasta they offered (lots of seafood stuff, mussles, lobster etc) I decided on a half lobster with mussels and clams over linguine with a fra diablo sauce (it is a red sauce, that is spicy and made with lobster base), this was out of this world, pasta was freshly made, and sauce was spicy and hearty, and lobster was cooked perfectly, and to top it off, the serving size was huge!! Maureen had a butternut squash ravioli with a asparagus and cream sauce, this is actually one of their specialties and favorite amoung diners. I cant recommend this place enough, and remember to bring some larger pants, cause I felt like I was going to explode afterwards.
